Chicago, Ill. (joint lecture).—John C. Lathrop, lecturer; introduced by Fred J. Stevens, who said in part:—

Throughout the Scriptures we are reminded of the importance of understanding God. Jesus, who of all men had the most perfect understanding of God, on one occasion said, "Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" implying that the one and only business is God's business. Are we not then warranted in believing that there is but one business and that that is God's business, and that man has therefore but one business,—the business of understanding God? Many men and women are to-day coming into the understanding that made of Solomon the great king of all time, and that enabled Jesus to do his wonderful works, by making it their business to study the Bible in connection with the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
