It is with pleasure that I send my testimony of the change that has come into my life through the study of Christian Science. My knee was hurt when I was a small child, and as I grew older it became worse, until I could hardly walk. After twenty-five years of suffering from this trouble I was healed by Christian Science. I was saved from the grave through the understanding and application of this healing truth when a child was born. A few months afterwards my husband and I and six children had scarlet fever all at one time. We telephoned to a practitioner who lived forty miles away, and all were healed in eight days. I was nearly blind but was healed in a few days. After all these proofs of God's power I still had a battle to fight, for I was afraid of what my friends and relatives would say. There came a testing time when I had to decide, and since then all erroneous conditions that have come to our home have been overcome with Christian Science.

Whooping cough and chicken pox were both overcome in a few days. There has not been a material remedy used in this home for twelve years. We never have lived where there is a church, so we have our Sunday school and read the Lesson-Sermon in our home and go by the Church Manual. We are grateful for Christian Science and for all the literature. There is one more healing I would like to tell about, a case of blood poisoning. There was such pain in the left side that I could hardly breathe. My husband telephones to a practitioner one hundred miles away for help, and in a few minutes the pain was nearly gone. I was well in three weeks, to the surprise of all who saw me. What I am most thankful for is the overcoming of the tendency to judge others. I now love every one and am trying to make every one happy, and to help spread the truth as taught by Jesus and rediscovered by Mrs. Eddy.
