I think it is time and a privilege for me to give a testimony to the world through the Sentinel. I was in a sanatorium for people suffering from lung trouble when a Christian Scientist came to visit me and told me a little about this teaching. I began to mend right away and in a short time was allowed to go home. A copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" was loaned to me and very soon I was able to take a position, which seemed wonderful. I remained well for two years. This happened in England. About six years ago I came to Canada but met no Christian Scientists, only opposition to the teaching, and was so discouraged that I gave up the study of it. Before long my health began to fail, but the seed of truth had been sown. One Sunday afternoon I went to visit a practitioner in Moose Jaw and after a talk with her I began to work for myself, as we are taught to do in Christian Science, with the result that in two days a severe cough, from which I had been suffering for almost two years, disappeared. All I am or ever hope to be is due to this wonderful truth.

While visiting some friends in the country in the summer of 1916 our little boy was bitten by a dog, but thanks to Christian Science there were no bad results. Through the realization of God as Life, Truth, and Love, the pain ceased immediately, and the marks on his arm and chin, where he had been bitten, disappeared the next day. For this healing my husband and I were both grateful. There are many other proofs of the healing power of Truth that I could give. Christian Science has been my only physician for years and has proved a help in time of trouble.
