Last year, after a medical examination at school, my little boy was declared deaf in one ear, and the physicians pointed out the necessity of taking him to a specialist. I did so, though without the child being benefited. It was then that I was led to Christian Science, whereupon my child was healed with a few treatments.

I experienced a beautiful demonstration of the power of divine Love in the case of my eldest son, when he fell from a tree last year in the mountains. The accident occurred in the afternoon, and it was utterly impossible for him to walk, as his ankle was very much swollen, so we had to carry him home, where I at once called up a Christian Science practitioner who had helped us faithfully on previous occasions. There was great excitement around us, and every one advised a different remedy. As for me, I looked for help elsewhere and trusted the knowledge that there are no accidents with God's children, and that He is our great Physician. My boy spent a very quiet night, and by the next morning there was not the slightest trace of the swelling, and he was able to go to school without assistance. From then on conditions were harmonious.

Both these cases of healing, as well as innumerable demonstrations of all kinds, are to us proofs of the love of our Father-Mother God, the ever-present help. Praise be unto God, and thanks to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having revealed this great truth!
