I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. Three years ago I took up the study of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, for the healing of physical ailments, and was healed in three weeks' time of rheumatism in the feet and ankles, also of a very bad corn. The physical healing was nothing, however, compared witht the spiritual uplift that gave me a better understanding of God. I was a member of an orthodox church, but did not get a good understanding of the Bible until I began to study it in connection with Science and Health and the Christian Science Lesson-Sermons; then it became a new book to me, and things I did not understand before were made plain.

I am deeply grateful to our beloved Leader for having given us a priceless treasure in our text-book, and that earnest students of Christian Science can be scientific Christians. Then too I am thankful for the help I get from our periodicals. I am studying to be a workman "approved unto God," and my desire is to be worthy to be known as a Christian Scientist.—Sarah L.
