Words fail me when I try to express gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me in every avenue of life. From my earliest childhood there had always been a great desire to help the weak and suffering whom I saw all about me, and also to be able to bring peace where discord was rife. At the time Christian Science came into my life, I was starving for the God that seemed "afar off," for I could not accept the explanations of the Bible which had been presented to me; hence that wonderful book was closed to me until its spiritual interpretation was unfolded through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Then what a transformation began immediately to be manifested! From a semiinvalid, constantly under the care of a physician, from spiritual starvation and a seemingly purposeless life, I awoke to the consciousness that God had answered my unspoken prayers, and that I was at last to be of real use to my fellow men through restored physical health and a constantly increasing understanding of God as the only lawmaker.

My gratitude grows day by day, and my thankfulness to the dear Father—Mother God who has given us through Mrs. Eddy this wonderful revelation of Truth, so simply stated that all, even the little children, may avail themselves of it.
