For eight years the truth as taught in Christian Science has been our only help and physician. From a frail girl, seemingly heir to all the ills of the flesh, I have become a strong woman, able to do a mother's work. At the time I became a mother, the truth was my only physician, and brought me through perfectly, although condemned to suffer by physicians. I am very grateful that one was found in this age who was able, strong enough and brave enough, to teach us this truth so plainly that all who will may understand. Our little family owe all we are today to Mrs. Eddy's explanation of the Bible. It is a help every hour and every day, and I thank God that it is. This daily study is helping me to live above jealousies, and is banishing all hatred and revenge from my consciousness.

I was left a widow in my first year of married life, and neither the little one nor I would be here today but for Christian Science. My son is now almost six years old, and has never taken any medicine, but reflects a great deal of Love. I am very grateful for the Sunday school work. In the workaday world I find the daily Lesson—Sermon a great help; if the demonstration is not made, it is our own lack of understanding, for "Principle is absolute," as Mrs. Eddy says on page 283 of Science and Health. I hope this testimony will be of help to some mother in her problems with the little one, as it is to me, and I pray that I may grow into a fuller understanding of the truth that sets us free.
