I feel it a duty as well as a privilege to give my testimony...

I feel it a duty as well as a privilege to give my testimony, hoping it may help some one who is still in darkness. As a child I always wanted to understand about God and longed for more light. Womanhood brought happiness, and life seemed like a sweet dream; but suddenly a great grief came upon me, and I cried out for more understanding. Ten long years I was searching for happiness. Health had failed me, and so had friends, until at last I was led step by step into Christian Science, and there found the true light. I was made whole, physically and mentally, and no one knows the joy that comes from within, although to mortal sense I had to give up everything. I have lost nothing but gained all. I was healed of a serious female trouble, also of a skin disease which had seemingly been inherited.

Seven years have passed and my health is perfect. I have not used any material remedy since my healing. There is no fear of the future now, for I know only good can come to those who dwell "in the secret place of the most High." I want to live in obedience to the divine Principle which our Saviour demonstrated. I love our dear Leader, who discovered and gave us this true light.
