A few years ago I became very ill with chills that would last about two or three days at a time. I thought there must be something serious the matter with me, so I went to a doctor. Upon examination he found I had an abdominal growth. He said I must be operated on as soon as possible, for my life was in great danger. I consulted another doctor, but the verdict was the same, except that upon close examination he found two other growths. He said I had better have an operation performed immediately, for if one of the growths broke, the results would be fatal.
I thought I would rather die than undergo an operation, so I went to see a Christian Science friend, who recommended a practitioner to me. I asked for treatment and began to improve from the very start. I was healed within four months, and I have not had a sick day since. The growths broke, but passed away without the slightest injury to me. I am now perfectly well. No words could express my thankfulness to God for Christian Science and for my wonderful healing. —Lovisa Rydberg, San Rafael, Cal.
