I feel deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done for me

I feel deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done for me. I always thought, even from a limited understanding of the Bible, that the Christ-healing was intended for us if we only knew how to apply it. After I became a student of Christian Science and the understanding grew clearer to me, I realized that I had found the Christ-way, and I am indeed thankful for this knowledge and for the spiritual help I have received. Freedom from fear is a blessing of itself, even if Christian Science never cured a physical ailment; but it does everything.

My little girl was healed of an attack of blood-poisoning after one treatment. She had chills and fever, and in the old thought of fear I am sure it would have proven a serious case; but with the help of a practitioner and my little understanding of the truth she was healed in a short time. For this and many other blessings I am truly grateful, and am trying each day to be better and to grow more into the understanding of this wonderful truth which Mrs. Eddy has revealed to us. I hope to be able to be a Christian Scientist in practise as well as in name.—Mrs. Depew, Stege, Cal.
