Words cannot express my gratitude to God for Christian Science

Words cannot express my gratitude to God for Christian Science. When I came to it, I felt that I was under a heavy shadow; there seemed to be only sorrow, darkness, despair, in store for me; but after studying it for some time, I found that there is a God who wipes away all tears. Mrs. Eddy says, "The heavenly intent of earth's shadows is to chasten the affection, to rebuke human consciousness and turn it gladly from a material, false sense of life and happiness, to spiritual joy and true estimate of being" (Retrospection and Introspection, p. 21). I have found this to be true as I have journeyed onward. Many beautiful demonstrations have been made by applying this great truth, which daily brings new inspiration to thought, and every hour we rejoice in understanding better the Master's untiring work for mankind, and in knowing our all-wise Father-Mother God who governs all.

I find myself progressing according to the faith that is in me as I draw nearer to God. I am grateful for all the good that has come to me, and words cannot tell my thankful appreciation of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this truth that has done and is doing so much for all mankind.
