This glorious truth known as Christian Science found me about three years ago in a hopeless condition, discouraged, and tired of life. Several times I had to give up work on account of bad health, especially nervousness, and at times a very despondent mental condition gave me much trouble. I suffered frequently with severe sick headaches, which kept me from my teaching for two or three days at a time; but since kind friends have brought me the good news of Christian Science, and have patiently told and retold me about the allness of God, good, His tender love and care, all the clouds of darkness and doubt have passed away. My life is brighter, and there is now harmony, where formerly there was a sense of chaos and struggle.

With the help of a practitioner I have been healed of bad colds, a supposedly dangerous fever, and many other ailments, in the most wonderful way. I now feel stronger, healthier, and happier than I ever did before. I am very grateful for all these healings, but feel still more thankful that Christian Science is teaching me to overcome all fear of evil. It helps me to be loving and patient to all mankind, and it has also freed me of bad temper and other sins. Words are inadequate to express the joy and gratitude I feel for this wonderful truth, which has given me a God who is ready now and always to help and strengthen His children, and I am striving earnestly to live the truth as Mrs. Eddy, our revered Leader, teaches us in the Christian Science text-book.
