I write this testimony with a heart full of gratitude to God, hoping that it will benefit some one who is suffering as I was. I was brought to Christian Science through the healing of my daughter, who lives in Lincoln, Neb. Her healing was a great demonstration of God's power. I was suffering from rheumatism in my feet and had cramps in my limbs at night, so bad that I could not rest. I also had stomach trouble of long standing, could only eat certain kinds of food, and had severe headaches, which sometimes lasted three days before I could get relief. Materia medica had been my idol from childhood, and I knew notheing better until I was visiting my daughter. It was through her invitation that I called on the practitioner who had healed her, and I was brought into the light. I took treatment and was healed of the pain in my feet instantaneously, and since then have been healed of numerous ailments. I bought a copy of Science and Health, and with the Bible and the Christian Science Quarterly, which I study daily, the uplift has been wonderful.

It is over two years since I became interested in Christian Science, and I have found this truth to be the "pearl of great price." Through its teachings I have been able to help myself and have had many beautiful demonstrations for others. I am thankful for this, for it led me to study Science and Health more closely, and I have thus gained a better understanding of the Bible and of God as perfect Principle. I have learned to look to divine Love for every human need, and I have a sweet sense of peace through the realization that I inherit only health, goodness, joy, and freedom. For this wonderful teaching, and the peace and harmony which have come into my life through the study of the Lesson-Sermons, I am away from any to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy. I am away from any Science church or Scientists, alone with God, but He surely blesses me in the work, and the seed of Truth sown here in the hearts of friends and neighbors is springing up, and it will not be long that I shall be alone, for others are seeking and finding the Christ-way.
