I am more grateful than mere words can express for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. Since it first entered my life, I have found it a practical, every-day help. I was never considered strong, for a tendency to heart weakness, supposed to be hereditary, with frequent attacks of a stomach disorder, caused me much suffering and loss of strength. I was also subject to severe colds and throat trouble. I tried various remedies for these ills without receiving any benefit, but was constantly growing worse and more hopeless of ever gaining health. When I had about reached the limit of human endurance I turned to Christian Science and was healed of these ills, and numerous minor ailments are also disappearing. I am now stronger, healthier, and happier than I ever thought possible; but grateful as I am for the physical healing, I am more thankful for the better understanding of God that I have gained through the study of Christian Science.

I would also tell of another instance of the power of divine Truth which occurred in our home recently. My mother, nearly seventy-two years of age, was stricken with paralysis. She was quite helpless; indeed, unable to move at all, and very much distressed mentally, for she had always been very active, and this condition was hard to bear; but with help from a Christian Science practitioner she has been restored to her normal state and is well and active.
