It is about ten years since I was wonderfully healed in Christian Science, when all else had failed and I was without hope or God in this world. I had taken medicine for more than fifteen years, had suffered from many diseases which made life seem a burden, and been given up by the doctors of different schools, when Christian Science came to my rescue. Then in a short time I was healed, not only from disease of the body, but also of the mind, such as discouragement, peevishness, and self-pity, as well as every form of selfishness. There are still some of those errors to be met, but each day I am striving to realize more of God's allness, and I have been able with the understanding I have gained to help many others.

I feel that I am being born again, and for this awakening I am most grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. While health has been restored and I feel better and stronger than I was without Christian Science, this gain seems small compared to the moral and spiritual quickening I have experienced. I also wish to thank The Christian Science Publishing Society for our splendid literature. The Monitor is finding its way into many homes and is enjoyed for its wholesome reading.
