I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. My health became impaired, and I was unable to walk any distance or to do my work. Being advised to try Christian Science, I purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and with the aid of a practitioner I began to improve from the start.
During the recent flood in Van Wert I was awakened at four o'clock in the morning to find the water rising, and in a very short time it was ankle-deep in the house. I roused the family and began to move things up-stairs while we were waiting for a cab came, to take us out, which was about three hours in all. When the cab came, I had to walk through three feet of water to reach it, and was in wet clothing more than two hours, but escaped with a slight cold.
I am past seventy-seven years of age and enjoy good health, which I attribute to Christian Science. My husband is over eighty and was an invalid for several years. There was no help for him in materia medica, but after taking treatment in Christian Science he began to improve, and was benefited a great deal in every way.
