I desire to acknowledge the many wonderful blessings...
I desire to acknowledge the many wonderful blessings which have come to me through the understanding of Christian Science, and with a thankful heart I give my testimony to the unlimited power of infinite Love. For several years my work has led me among foreign people, and much of the time I had near me no one of my own countrymen, but God has never failed me yet, nor left me alone in my need. I have seen so many manifestations of the power of Love in annihilating hate, discord, anger, resentment, prejudice, dishonesty, limitation, incapacity, and physical inharmony, that I really feel I should never doubt an instant, no matter what or how or great is the seeming.
Not the least of my joys have been the beautiful results of impersonal work. Many times, in the associations in which I have been placed, I have seen the quick change from chaos to harmony, and from impending ruin and failure to success, for persons who came within the radius of the thought of Truth. The Science of Mind has opened up to me the wonderful beauties of my art, and through the realization of divine intelligence I have been enabled to manifest some of them. I know God's law is the law of progress, and each day brings me new opportunities to prove it. I wish all girls who come over here to study or work might have the knowledge of the truth of being, for I am convinced that it is the only power that can solva their problems for them. In my own experience conditions which seemed insurmountable have disappeared, and things which in my old way of thinking would have been impossible have been accomplished, and others are daily being worked out not only in outside conditions, but in ourselves, where of course our greatest work has to be done. With God everything good is possible, and all I am or ever will be I own to Christian Science, for I have learned that of myself I can do nothing.
I now can realize faintly the wonderful work of our beloved Leader, and words cannot express my deep love and reverence for her; but I am indeed grateful for her steadfastness, which has brought to me, as it will to all who are willing to accept it, this beautiful, practical knowledge of God.—Fanny Lott, Milan, Italy.
