I am glad to express my gratitude for the help Christian Science has been to me. Over a year ago I was suffering from an eye trouble and sleeplessness. I was under the care of a London specialist, who prescribed a course of treatment which I faithfully followed for more than a month, at the end of which time I was in a very bad way owing to lack of sleep and mental depression. For quite two months I had been unable to sleep, and was very nervous and run down in consequence. This was my condition when some one suggested that Christian Science might benefit me. Only too glad to try anything that might possibly afford me any relief, I obtained an introduction to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help. With the first treatment I slept soundly the whole night through, and have never been troubled in that way since. The treatment was continued for a fortnight, by which time the eye trouble was overcome, the only physical manifestation remaining being a slight appearance of redness, which cleared up a few days later, leaving the eyes quite normal. A growth on the eyelid which the surgeon advised me to have removed by an operation has also disappeared, and I can truly say that I am brighter and happier and in better general health than I have been for years. The mental gloom has also vanished, together with the accompanying sense of nervousness and fear.

Christian Science has revealed to me the healing power of Truth, and is teaching me to understand life in an entirely different way. For this I am deeply grateful to God; also to Mrs. Eddy, who by her beautiful example has shown us the way which helped me in my hour of need.
