As I awoke one morning recently a song of gratitude was singing itself in my healing in my heart for my healing in Christian ancestry made good soil for the Universalist teaching that God is love, and for the added truth of Christian Science to take root. I have now found that God heals our diseases as well as forgives our iniquities. I am seventy years of age, and in July, 1909, it appeared that I was growing feeble. My physicians had stated that my liver was affected, but I am happy to say that after the first treatment in Christian Science I was freed from pain. This meant much to me, for I had not been able to sleep well. The complete healing took some time, but during that time, with a practitioner's patient and loving help, I learned the beauty and efficacy of Christian Science.

Mrs. Eddy's clear and logical exposition of divine Truth will indeed bring full salvation to sick and sinning humanity. I have proved through obedience to statements of truth, as found in Science and Health, that I have dominion as given us in our divine birthright.

Having been associated with those great women, Susan B. Anthony, Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucy Stone Blackwell, and knowing their work, I greatly appreciate the work that Mrs. Eddy has done in placing woman side by side with man in the pulpit of her church.
