In October, 1907, after having "suffered many things of many physicians," I was almost discouraged. I had a severe case of female trouble, which had lasted in an acute form for two years, besides other ills too numerous to mention. At that time the pain in my left side was so severe that I could not stand erect, and when a friend advised Christian Science treatment I finally decided to try it, as all else had failed. After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" for a few days, I called on a practitioner for help. In one week's treatment I was perfectly healed. Fear came back a few times, but each time all evidence of trouble vanished at the application of truth. I am now able to help myself most of the time, and enjoy every minute of existence, through understanding that man is God's idea.

In the winter of 1907 my little daughter had a severe attack of throat trouble. As I was young in Science I called on a practitioner for help. In two or three hours the conditions were overcome and there was no return of the ailment during the whole winter.
