I think it is time that I made some acknowledgment of what God, through Christian Science, has done for me. Before I learned of Science I was very miserable with female troubles, at times enduring agonies and most of the time suffering from some bad feeling. I had taken all kinds of medicines that were recommended for these ailments, but without any permanent relief. The doctors finally said it was of no use to take medicine, that there was an organic trouble which called for an operation before relief could be had; but thanks to Christian Science I did get relief without any material help. When Science and Health was sent to me by a good friend, I read the testimonies and thought that if others had received help I might; but still I questioned if it could cure my particular case. I however, kept on reading and found help in that priceless book. When the first attack of suffering came I thought I would prove whether the statements of this book were true. The result was that I have not in four years been in bed a day with that complaint. It has not all been smooth sailing; there have been hard fights with error, but Truth has always conquered in the degree that I have clung to its teaching. A severe case of eruptive fever was overcome in two days with treatment by a kind friend, when some bad symptoms were developing. Headaches and other ailments have also been overcome by this truth. I am thankful to Mrs. Eddy for all she has done to help suffering mortals, and for all the helpful literature of Christian Science.—Mrs. Annie Young, Willgus, Ariz.
