I first became interested in Christian Science a little...
I first became interested in Christian Science a little over three years ago, and I cannot begin to tell all the benefits that have come to me through the study of this healing truth. Fear, which was my greatest enemy, is being overcome more and more every day. For years I took different remedies for nervousness, and none of them ever helped me; but as soon as I came into Christian Science I gave up all my medicines, and have felt better than ever before. I was also cured of stomach trouble in a few treatments. Prior to this if I deviated in the least from a very simple diet, I would always suffer. Now, thank God, through Christian Science I have learned of the wonderful power of Truth, and it certainly has freed me from the belief that food has any power to distress me, and wherever I am I eat whatever is set before me and think no more about it. Through the understanding of Truth I was able to discard a flannel bandage which a physician had said I would always have to wear. I have been helped in many other ways, too, for which I am very grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has made the truth so clear to us all. I am also very grateful for having been so patiently helped to know God aright.
