I am glad to give my testimony to the Field, for the testimonies in our periodicals have helped me so much that I hope mine may be of help to some one else. About eleven years ago I was suffering from a very serious organic trouble, and after taking medical treatment for some time I was told that the only help for me was to have an operation performed; but I was in such a nervous. worn-out condition at the time, that the doctor said I should go to the mountains first to regain my strength. I was utterly discouraged at this verdict, and felt that life was hardly worth the living. While in this state Christian Science was recommended to me, and I consented to try it, thinking it could not hurt me anyway. In five treatments I was entirely healed, and I have never had a return of the old trouble in these eleven years, nor have I taken a drop of medicine during that time. I have enjoyed almost perfect health; only a few times have I needed any help, and then the ailments were easily and quickly overcome.

Not a day goes by but that Christian Science is a help to me, and while I feel so thankful for the physical healing, it is the spiritual uplifting, the peace of mind, for which I feel most grateful. Words cannot express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me.
