Since coming into Christian Science, ten years ago, the truth has been our only physician, and I rejoice because I have found what I had so long been looking for, that is, a practical religion. Through its teaching we have seen the power of Truth destroy many ailments. Last June, our boy, now fourteen years old, was taken with a severe case of measles, and it seemed for the first two days that fear would master us. On the third day I sat by his bedside and read the Lesson-Sermon to him, from the Bible and Science and Health. The fear was destroyed, and he then dressed himself and came downstairs. For this healing, and for many other blessings which we have received, we are truly thankful to God, and I wish to express my love and gratitude to our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way to Truth.
