Mrs. Eddy's Tribute

The Masonic Constellation, published in St. Louis, reprints our Leader's letter to Mr. John C. Higdon which appeared in the Sentinel of March 10, and comments upon it as follows:—

Mrs. Mary B. Eddy, the great Leader of Christian Science, places herself on record in support of Freemasonry in a letter to Sir Knight John C. Higdon of St. Louis It has often been said that the followers of Mrs. Eddy were antagonistic to Masonry: that as members of the church they could not retain connection with Masonry. Mrs. Eddy is the widow of a Mason, whose membership was held in St. Andrew's Lodge, No. 10, and Union R. A. Chapter, No.3, of Wilmington, N. C.
