First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city, formerly holding services at 816 St. Charles Street, have purchased the property of the First Christian Church, on the corner of Coliseum and Melpomene Streets, and will hold its opening service in the newly purchased edifice this morning [April 15]. News Orleans Picayune.

The Christian Scientists of Liverpool, England, having needed a Reading Room, removed lately to new and commodious quarters in Leece Street, an excellent situation in all respects.
