The Steps

SEIZE your staff! beyond this height
We shall find the Infinite Light!
Gird your thigh! this sword shall hew
Paths that reach the untroubled blue!
Though dark mountains form the stair,
It is ours to climb and dare!
Law, truth, love—the peaks are three:
Sinai, Olivet, Calvary!
