Being deeply grateful to God, I would like to tell a few of the blessings He has sent me. About one year ago a friend gave me the first intimation I had ever had concerning Christian Science. On my way home, the same evening, I was healed of kidney trouble which I thought was caused by the water I was compelled to drink. After my healing I continued drinking water from the same source for seven months without the slightest return of the ailment referred to. The healing of the friend and my own experience seemed so wonderful that I wrote my brother about the power of divine Love, and after a second letter he began to study Christian Science. He has been "born again" in Christ. Though his progress has been slow, his diseases, which were numerous, are gradually disappearing.

About five months ago, I began to attend the meetings of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Dayton, Ohio, for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of Christian Science so that I might help my brother, who had become very much discouraged. During one of these meetings the truth was presented so forcibly to me that I was almost instantly healed. The next morning I laid aside the glasses which I had worn for eighteen years. I could never do without them longer than ten minutes without suffering from a severe headache, and could not use my eyes, even with the aid of glasses, longer than four hours per day. Since my healing at the services referred to, I have been able to use my eyes freely, and experience on inconvenience whatever. I sincerely praise God and thank Him for this great blessing.

Since having gained a better understanding of God's laws, I have learned that I can eat meat again. This, as I formerly believed, caused me to suffer with constipation. I consider my healing beautiful, but the spiritual uplifting that my brother and I have experienced through Christian Science is grand beyond expression, far surpassing the great physical benefits. The change in my own life and the transformation in his home have been wonderful
