The call came directly to me, Have not you something to write of the benefits you have received through the teachings of Christian Science for the Sentinel or Journal. In loving obedience I will try to do my part.

Of healing I have had sufficient to prove to me conclusively the power for good of divine Mind over bodily ailments. The first night I read Science and Health I decided to give it a fair test and began by removing my glasses. After reading for two hours my eyes felt better than they usually did with my glasses on. For several years I had not dared to have my glasses off for any length of time, as such occasions were attended with headache and inflamed lids.

For two years and a half I have not worn glasses and yet have been able to read and do fine work. even with a poor light, when those around would say, "You will ruin your eyes."
