It is reasonable to suppose that the Christian Science practitioner who has healed the sick, knows how it was done and he will tell you that it is the "Mind which was in Christ" that heals, and those who do not know how the work was done may theorize, but the facts are not changed.

After having spent my boyhood in active outdoor life in the exhilarating climate of the Alleghany Mountains, I moved to Texas and engaged in teaching, and this change of habits and climate transformed me into a semi-invalid.
I united with a Christian Science Church over six years ago, and it is impossible for me to tell of the innumerable blessings I have received through the knowledge of eternal Truth gained during that time.
Before I had a knowledge of Christian Science I was ill from exhausted nerves, and had headaches for several days at a time, when I could keep nothing on my stomach.
It would be impossible for me to express in words all that the study of Christian Science has been to me, not so much in a physical as in a mental way, for when it came to me it was truly a case where "man's extremity is God's opportunity.
After witnessing in my family a remarkable case of healing by Christian Science, I could no longer scoff at its claims nor neglect the opportunity it afforded for my own healing.
