During July, 1902, I became very ill, and was told by the doctor that I was suffering from an internal growth which would probably result in cancer. I was also suffering from dyspepsia, hemorrhoids, and nervous prostration.

About this time I received from some friends copies of the Christian Science Sentinel and decided to ask for treatment from a gentleman practising Christian Science in Sydney, and although the growth disappeared, I, ignorant of the rules of Christian Science, continued to consult the doctor, until a lady friend who is a Christian Scientist called to see me and advised the giving up of drugs and doctors: which advice I followed, and from that date, about the beginning of September, I began to improve.

I am thankful to say, that I am now perfectly well, entirely rid of my many ailments. Although sixty-four years old, I feel quite strong and able to perform my household duties without fatigue. I also feel a sense of happiness and peace that I never had before.
