Church Needs and Supply
To my sense the benefit to be derived from the article in the December Journal on parliamentary rules and usage will be far-reaching and prove a blessing to many a worker in the field.
To form church, or society, on a scientific basis, so as to stimulate a spiritual growth from the start, requires "help from above." The law of God, Good, must be understood. All personal thought as to what constitutes good government must be subservient to the universal law of love, equality, and harmony.
Personal ambition for place or power is a condition of mortal thought that must be guarded against. God's will must be supreme in our affections. It requires the constant watchfulness of the student who has the work in charge to protect the tender plant in its early growth from the thorns and briers by the wayside.
