I have received so much help through the healing power of God since I began the study of Science and Health, and have had so many proofs of the loving Father's protecting care, that I regard it as a privilege to send my testimony to our dear Sentinel in which I find so many helpful thoughts.

I had heard of Christian Science through other members of the family, and although I did learn to trust God more from what they said, yet I thought I did not want Christian Science for my religion, nor did I even care to read and find out what it was, as I did not think that was the right way to heal the sick; for, if it were the way Jesus healed. the work would always be instantaneous.

In March of 1901 I found I must have help from some source, and Christian Science was suggested to me. I decided to send for a practitioner, and thought that if I were healed thus I would give God the praise.
