I am grateful for Christian Science, which teaches us how to work out a full salvation. When not working for others, we have plenty to do for ourselves, putting away every error, thought, word, and deed, that, when mirrored on the body, bring sickness and death, and putting on the divine consciousness, pure thoughts of Life, Truth, and Love, that redeem the body, and reveal immortality. As we have to see every claim of error, in the members of our body, as unreal, so have we to see our brother as a perfect member of the body of Christ (the true Church). To redeem our own body we need to see perfection in others.

"We know that we have passed from death unto life because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death."—Mrs. Gertrude E. Meriam.
