Working out our Salvation

The thought came to me to-day, why is it that sometimes our own problems are delayed?

Since it says in the Scriptures, "Work out your own salvation," and Jesus said, "I am with you alway, even unto the end;" it must be that some error is in our own consciousness and that we are not taking God into every detail with us, for that would bring harmony and peace.

Now if we are not reflecting and establishing harmony and peace, it cannot be God that we are working with, so we know that the fault is with us, and we must retrace our steps, watch every thought, word, and deed, and let nothing but God's way abide in our consciousness. Hold fast to Truth or else we slip back again, only to find error trying to work out our problem, through old ways, old deeds, and old thoughts, when we know they should be cast off as rubbish.
