Five years ago I came to Christian Science through the healing of a case of appendicitis from which I was a sufferer. The healing of this particular case had more to do with my coming to Science than anything else, although I knew of wonderful case of healing, especially that of my wife, In my case I had been suffering for several days when I was taken violently ill. I was away from home. I came home and still had intense pain. My wife said, "You must have help." I said, "I realize that, and I must have it very soon." She said, "Which will you have, Christian Science or a doctor?" I said, "I will have Science." She stepped to the telephone and called a practitioner, and I do not think it was more than thirty minutes from the time that she had finished telephoning that I retired and slept soundly. The next morning I went to the office free from pain and with no after effects whatever from the attack.—George Needham, East Cleveland, O.
