Having read the Sentinel for many months, and having received so much help and encouragement from its pages, I feel it a pleasure to add a little to its columns by giving one or two demonstrations of the many benefits received from this blessed Truth, that grows dearer to me every day.
I had weak eyes. I had worn glasses at different times and for the last two years had worn them constantly. I consulted physicians and specialists, but received only temporary relief. Finally my eyes became so painful that I could scarcely endure it. I was advised to try Christian Science. I did not know anything about it, and only knew one person (my grandmother) who did. I went to see a healer and after the first treatment, I took off my glasses, and it was never necessary to wear them again. I was treated some time before being fully healed.
Another demonstration was that of spinal trouble. Two physicians told me that I would have to have an operation, and would probably be an invalid all my life. I was treated by the same faithful Scientist and was healed. I cannot express my gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown me the way to Life, Truth, and Love.
