For a long time it has seemed to me that I ought to write something of my experience with Christian Science; for the testimonies found in the Sentinel have often been very helpful to me.
Just a year ago this month, I was a very much discouraged girl, having been told by an oculist, after taking his treatment, that my eyes could not be healed; that it would be necessary always to wear glasses unless I gave up reading altogether; also finding that other troubles were fast making an invalid of me. It has always been my intense desire to study and teach, and life seemed worthless with that privilege taken from me.
After much urging, I was persuaded to ask for Christian Science treatment.
