Among the Churches

A custom of our church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, since 1897, has been to send a yearly offering to the Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Mass. An article of its Constitution contains this section: "It shall be the duty of this Church to contribute toward the support of the Mother Church."

This contribution has increased from year to year, and the blessings to the Cause in our city, reaped therefrom, have been rich.

At a recent testimonial service here, the subject of the evening was "The Mother Church, and its advantages to us, as branch churches."
