I was suffering day and night with sciatica when my dear mother wrote me to try Christian Science. For one month I was under absent treatment and was helped so much that I slept the first night and soon was free from that distressing trouble. I am now fifty-one; I do the work for a family of six. It is five years since I began to study Christian Science. I have never been sorry, although it has been a struggle. There is no Scientist near here. My family are not in sympathy with me, except my two little ones, twelve and ten years old. They have had measles, but they were very light cases, owing to Christian Science treatment. The little boy had a broken arm, and had no help from a doctor except to set the bone. I am very thankful to know of this ever-present help. I find many rough places, but the truth helps me over them, and I know that each trial makes me stronger. I am beginning to realize that God expresses all the love and sympathy there is. We have had many good demonstrations. I am most thankful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
