Among the Churches

We are glad to send you an encouraging message from this little town situated in the heart of the Rockies.

In the spring of 1895 three friends met at the home of one of them once a week, to go over the Lesson-Sermon. In June, 1897, we began having Sunday services. At this time there were but four who were really interested in Christian Science. In the fall we rented a room, furnished it with a reading desk, benches, chairs, rug, and curtains; all very simple and plain.

In the summer of 1901, a few more were added to our number, and during the winter we sometimes numbered as high as sixteen. Many of these, however, dropped out, leaving about nine regular attendants.
