I am a beneficiary of Christian Science in a great measure
I am a beneficiary of Christian Science in a great measure. A little over two years ago I began to read the literature and was healed of catarrh of the throat, and of rheumatism that had bothered me for several years.
I have been engaged as a traveling salesman for ten years. During that time I had acquired many objectionable habits which were getting a firmer grasp on me as time went on, and sometimes when I wished to be free from them, all I could get in answer to my desire was to go ahead and drink deeper of the cup of indulgences, since that was all that could be done.
As I read the pure and uplifting literature of Christian Science I saw the great possibilities, and thought whispered to me, It is true; all its promises are true, and if you accept them you will have chosen the good part and have gained an hundredfold in the present time, and Life Eternal. This has been proved true. I began attending the services and have never had any desire for old habits. I have been in better health, and have been enabled to carry on my business in a successful manner, and in a way satisfactory to those with whom I deal, as well as to myself. In fact, all the discordant conditions of my life were eliminated with the touch of Love, as made known to me through the teaching of Christian Science.
