Made Every Whlt Whole
In the year 1897 Christian Science came to our notice. We were told by a neighbor that they were entertaining a Scientist from Detroit, and that we might perhaps receive the help from her which we so much needed.
My husband had been a great sufferer from rheumatism for twenty years, which terminated in a severe case of lumbago and be became entirely helpless. We had exhausted the skill of many physicians. Electricity and every known remedy had been tried, but without avail, and when Christian Science was proposed it was the last resort. Here we learned that man's extremity was God's opportunity.
The work was commenced, and in five day's treatment, my husband was able to go about the farm and do some work. At the end of the tenth day he was able to do all kinds of the hard work farmers have to do, without the slightest inconvenience. Since his treatment, he has never had a return of his former trouble.
