Creeping Paralysis Healed
I have often thought I would try to express my gratitude for the Journal and Sentinel, and also for the Bible Lessons. To any one situated as I am, far from Christian Science services, they are indeed full of meat and drink for the hungry, thirsty soul.
Christian Science came to this part of the country about two and a half years ago, or at least tha was about the first I had ever heard of it. A neighbor was healed by it, after she had been pronounced incurable. The only question I asked when I heard of it was, "Do they believe God does the healing?" I of course received an affirmative answer and was fully convinced then and there that it was of God.
My husband was in need of physical healing at that time and I insisted on his giving it a trial. He went to Denver to see a practitioner and was healed in three weeks from the time he went. In two weeks' treatment he was healed of creeping paralysis. He brought home "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I began reading it and was healed of many ills. The worst afflication that I had was chronic constipation, which did not at once disappear altogether, although I was better from the first and never took any medicine after beginning to read Science and Health. Previous to that I had to take medicine constantly. Now after two and a half years I feel that the demonstration is made.
