Testimony Meeting at London, England
Town is supposed to be very empty now, but we have had very full and good testimony meetings. Following is an account of the meeting held August 14.
A gentleman first rose, and said, "A gentleman here in London who had been seriously ill for some months of Bright's disease and heart trouble, having been under several eminent physicians, decided, at the request of a near relation, to try Christian Science. The doctors had told his relatives that his case was hopeless, and that he should be informed that he was a dying man. He had been more or less wandering in his mind for some time.
Christian Science treatment began on Friday evening, nine weeks ago. He was downstairs the next day, and was completely healed of Bright's disease and heart disease in a very short time. He has been healed also of dyspepsia, indigestion, and insomnia of long standing. He has now slept peacefully, like a child, for weeks. There is no question that according to materia medica the man was dying of Bright's disease. There is also no question now as to his being perfectly well.
