Faithfulness and Patience Rewarded
In looking over my experiences since I began studying Christian Science, I find so much to be grateful for, that I want to tell others of these blessings. This is the first summer for seven years that I have been free from a severe trouble with my eyes. For four years I tried everything that materia medica suggested, but without help. I was told that I would never be entirely free from it.
Four years ago this fall, when suffering with a severe attack of rheumatism, I sought help from Christian Science,
and was healed. This one trouble with my eyes seemed to be the problem through which I was to learn the meaning of the text, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God that worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure," and I am very grateful that I have learned its meaning and followed the command.
