Teach the Children

Teach the children Truth's pure lesson,
Lead them gently day by day,
In the straight and narrow pathway,
Love illumining the way.

Teach them to be meek and lowly,
Pure in thought, and word, and deed,
Ever selfless, ever holy;
Thus we're sowing well the seed.

Taught thus the lives of guileless childhood
Will flow grand and full and free;
E'en reflecting the completeness
Of our Saviour's purity.
