Be Not Deceived
If there is any one thing more than another that we, as professed believers of Christian Science, need to look at often, it is the question of deception. It is so easy to say we believe in Christian Science. It is another thing to show by our fruits that we believe.
No one ever became a mathematician until he had proved his claim to such by the working of not only hundreds, but thousands of problems. He had to have a sense of the principle; then to learn the rules; then solve the different problems stated to prove for himself the correctness of both principle and rules. No two rules are just the same, and yet all rules are but for the purpose of leading the student step by step up to the top of the ladder of the science of mathematics.
Studying the life of Jesus closely, we find him constantly healing human infirmities. When he taught he always illustrated by healing something considered incurable.
