Mr. Howe Speaks
Charles M. Howe, C.S.D., publishes a card in a recent number of the St. Joseph Daily Gazette in refutation of another falsehood that some newspapers have published.
After quoting from one of these newspapers Mr. Howe says:—
In regard to the above I wish to state that on the 13th day of April I had the privilege of an extended interview with Mrs. Eddy at her home in Concord, N. H., and will say that I never saw her looking better. She was walking around as lightly as any young person, with a peaceful and restful expression entirely foreign to one suffering from disease, and I am thoroughly convinced that the above statement is entirely without foundation, but is only another falsehood that is being circulated with the intent to injure her and the noble cause which she has so successfully established, the growth of which is unprecedented in history.
