The Journal and Sentinel

I desire to express my deep and sincere appreciation of the work and efforts of our editors and publishers, and of the good things they send us by our Journal and Sentinel. How welcome they are! They are words spoken in due season.

Living for some weeks in the country, at a distance from church services and week-day meeting, one can realize what the regular coming of these periodicals means to Scientists whose homes are always there. How eagerly we look forward to their appearance, especially of the weekly Sentinel.

As I recall the many wholesome lessons I have learned through them, I apprehend, as never before, what these publications are to us individually as well as for our cause.
